English: DO NOT USE THIS PICTURE. Note that this picture, though found many places, is not Timbuctoo, in fact it was not even taken in New York State. This note by deisenbe. Deisenbe (talk) 14:23, 4 April 2022 (UTC) This picture appears in numerous places, but some of the images are flipped, i.e. left and right reversed, like on a photographic negative. The correct orientation is unknown. As of 2021, this is the only known photo of any part of the Timbuctoo community other than individual members. Just what activity is underway is unknown: baling hay? Note the wagons with animals hitched to them; these were presumably horses, as there were no donkeys or mules in the area. There are no known photos of any Timbuctoo structures other than John Brown's farm. |
