English: Tilford Bridge. The confluence of the southern and northern arms of the River Wey occurs in Tilford, a little way upstream of this point. The mediaeval bridge is a Grade I listed structure. As illustrated by Neil elsewhere 477429 and 1210073, this is a favourite picnic and paddling spot, but on a dank dark wet November morning with the river flowing strongly over the weir, pleasure-makers are conspicuous by their absence... |
