Summary
[edit]DescriptionTilehurst station geograph-2454251-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: Down Hereford express passing Tilehurst station. View eastward, towards Reading and London; ex-GWR Paddington - Reading - Swindon - Bristol etc. main line. The 15.15 from Paddington will run via Oxford and Worcester and reach Hereford in about 3½ hours, headed by a splendidly clean 'Castle' 4-6-0', one of the short-lived post-war batch, No. 7031 'Cromwell's Castle' (built 6/50, withdrawn 7/63). |
