Summary
[edit]DescriptionTilehurst railway geograph-2432466-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: A long Down Parcels approaching Tilehurst with a 'Castle' 4-6-0. View eastward, towards Reading and London; ex-GWR Paddington - Bristol etc. main line. Built in 9/26, No. 5002 'Ludlow Castle' was one of the early batch of Collett 'Castles' and was in service until 9/64. 'A08' was probably the Reporting Number of its previous Up working - not of the Parcels. |
