[edit]DescriptionTiger Meet aircraft at Buckley AFB 2003.JPEG |
Aircraft representing all of the participating fighter units during the "Inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas" exercise are line up on the flight line at Buckley AFB, Colorado (CO). The "Inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas" brought together flying units from throughout North America that have a Tiger or large cat as their unit symbol. The "Tiger Meet of the Americas" closely resembles the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)/Europe Tiger Meet in its goal of fostering camaraderie, teamwork and tactics familiarization. The first aircraft in line is a German Luftwaffe Panavia Tornado IDS based at Holloman Air Force Base, followed by various USAF General Dynamicx F-16C Fighting Falcons. At the end of the line are a Canadian CF-188B Hornet and an USAF McDonnell Douglas F-15E Eagle. |
