Description
English: The town gate was first mentioned in 1322, named after the small village Tiedexen that was situated in front of the gate and was abandoned in the 14th century. The gate was pulled down in 1813, the passage for pedestrians was built in 1964.
Deutsch: Einbeck, Tiedexer Tor. Erste Erwähnung des Tores im Jahre 1322, benannt nach dem vor dem Tor gelegenen und im 14. Jahrhundert verlassenen Dorf Tiedexen. Das Tor ist 1813 abgerissen worden, der Fußgängerdurchgang 1964 eingebaut.
