Description

Tidewater, founded in 1932, has evolved from a barge line primarily handling wheat into a multi-modal transportation company serving the diverse transportation needs of the Pacific Northwest. Mt. Hood Push

Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, Tidewater's operating area extends from the inland Port of Lewiston, Idaho to the Pacific Coast Port of Astoria, Oregon, a distance of 465 miles. Along this river system,there are twenty-eight country grain elevators, seven export elevators and thirty-six individual port districts with varying transportation needs.
