Description

"Established in the year 5504 according to the Jewish calendar (1744 CE), this cemetery contains the graves of renowned Jewish sages and rabbis, most of them from around the ancient jujube tree in the northern part of the cemetery. Among the graves is that Rabbi Chaim Abulalia, who reconstituted Jewish life in Tiberias in 1740."
