Description
English: Thurne Dyke Drainage Mill Thurne Dyke Drainage Mill (a brick tower wind-powered land drainage pump), built in 1820, is a most distinctive Broadland windmill. This view is from the River Thurne (Thurne Dyke is to the right of the picture). The grid line from here back towards the Thurne Mouth 600 metres south lies roughly along the middle of the river. A part of the long distance path ‘Weavers’ Way’ passes in front of the mill.
