English: German Army Capt. Jochen Haack, left, and 1st Lt. Tobias Schulten, forward observers assigned to 5th Company, Jager Battalion, scan for targets on the battlefield during during a multinational exercise held at the Great Lithuanian Hetman Jonusas Radvila Training Regiment, in Rukla, Lithuania, that involved a bombing run by two A-10C Thunderbolt IIs from the 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard are based at Ämari Air Base, June 12, 2015. Saber Strike is a long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise. This year’s exercise objectives facilitate cooperation amongst the U.S., Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to improve joint operational capability in a range of missions as well as preparing the participating nations and units to support multinational contingency operations.
