Description

I have traveled Interstate 70 all across the United States and on several shorter trips. This is one of my favorite spots. If you are coming through Utah from the west, just before Green River you will drive through some spectacular geological features in the San Rafael Reef. On the east end of this you will all of a sudden enter a curvy, steeply descending stretch that ends up passing through a narrow gap or slot.

When these truckers saw a sign a ways back which read, "Check brakes, steep grade ahead," I hope they took it seriously.
