Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Throstle Bower Graveyard. Looking NW along Heys Lane. Many of the graves here bear the names of children sent from workhouses in Liverpool to work in the mills at Wainstalls. There was once a Wesleyan chapel here, probably in the background where the trees are. It burnt down in the 1950s.
