Description
English: Relief of three escutcheons at the site of the old Salt Tax Office, Constitution Hill, Southwold, England. According to [1], the lower left is the arms of Strickland (blazon sable three escallops argent, a bordure engrailed argent). Lower right is arms of Chapman (blazon parti per chevron, argent and gules, a crescent counterchanged). The upper escutcheon has the Southwold arms (traditional) related to the Suffolk charges of two arrows in saltire, enfiled with a ducal coronet. They are between two fishes.
