Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Three purple mushrooms These tiny mushrooms were found growing on the edge of Lord Anson's Wood. What species they are I do not know. Rob Farrow [1] suggests that these might perhaps be Amethyst Deceiver (Laccaria amethystea). Cap size ranges from 1.5 to 8 cm, they can be found in both coniferous and broadleaved woods and fruit in autumn. If it is L amethystea, then it's theoretically good to eat - but never worth the risk unless 100% positive of the ID! Many thanks, Rob!
