Summary
[edit]DescriptionThree in one - geograph.org.uk - 372493.jpg |
English: Three in one. Looking across Hearsall Common and Hearsall Lane from Beechwood Avenue towards the three churches in this square. On the left, next to the poplars, is All Souls at the corner of Fife Road and Kingsland Avenue. The white houses and trees to its right are on Fife Road and behind the trees is Hearsall Baptist church on the corner of Queensland Avenue. Further right can be seen the blue tiled roof of St Mary Magdalen's on the corner of Sir Thomas White's Road and Hearsall Lane, otherwise known as, you've guessed it, 'the church with a blue roof' ( 515257 ). To its right the houses on Earlsdon Avenue North face the playing field area of Hearsall Common (very boggy at this time of year) and in the foreground is a partially tarmacced area where the regular fairs and circuses are set up. |
