Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Three-cornered leeks growing by the roadside Allium triquetrum. Very attractive plant. On first glance, I thought these were a variety of bluebell, but the interesting three-cornered stems made me investigate a bit further. My field guide identifies them as Three-cornered leeks. (I've never heard of them.) Picture taken on Raginnis Hill. A native of the W Mediterranean, now rather common in SW England, S Wales and S Ireland; still rare elsewhere but increasing.
