Description
English: A ritual thread-cross (mdos) at Changangkha Lhakhang, Thimphu. In Himalayan Buddhism thread crosses are is utilised in rituals designed for the catching and exorcising of evil spirits and negative forces. These thread-cross structures have different forms, depending on the type of malevolent force, or negative spirit to be exorcised.
