| Description |
English: Interior from Thorshammars workshop near Norberg in Sweden, 1896. The workshop produced objects made of tin, copper and brass. Operation started 1876 and was closed 1983. In the picture: candlestick and a chandelier. Power to the machines are transferred from a water wheel via the roof mounted line shafts to the rotating machines.
Svenska: Interiör från Thorshammars verkstad vid Norberg, år 1896. Thorshammars verkstad var en verkstad som tillverkade föremål av tenn, koppar och mässing. Verksamheten startade 1876 och lades ner 1983. I bilden syns bordsljusstakar och en stor ljuskrona i mässing. Maskinerna drevs vid den här tiden med remdrift från taket. Kraften kom från ett vattenhjul. Fotot är taget av Laura Jensen, Fotografi-Atelier. |
