Summary
[edit]DescriptionThornhills Beck Lane, Brighouse - geograph.org.uk - 1748621.jpg |
English: Thornhills Beck Lane, Brighouse This is the lower end of the lane as it approaches the ford across Clifton Beck just beyond the large tree on the right. The field, now a playing field, was used for grazing cattle and sheep. A small beck, Thornhills Beck, which cut the field in two to the right of this scene, but out of view, has been diverted round the playing field before it joins Clifton Beck. The mills and their chimneys are long gone. |
