Summary
[edit]DescriptionThorens PC650 (black) drawing.svg |
English: Thorens PC650 cassette deck, 1978-1980. The PC650 and the similar PC650M (M for metal tape compatibility) cassette decks were the company's first and last product on the Compact Cassette market. The original PC650 was introduced in 1978 with a list price of USD $1,300; shortly after it it was supplanted by PC650M revision which remained in company's catalogue to 1980. Little is known of the source of the mechanism; it uses unconventional orientation with the capstan and heads placed above the cassette (and the tape travel right to left, not the usual left to right). |
