Description
English: Maj. Gen. Tracy Thompson, commanding general, 412th Theater Engineer Command, and Brig. Gen. John Cardwell, commanding general, 9th Mission Support Command, discuss Army Reserve support in Hawaii and the Pacific during an office call Aug. 26, 2014 at Fort Shafter Flats, Hawaii. As the Army Reserve's theater engineer in the Pacific, the 412th deployed approximately 80 Soldiers to Korea, Japan and Hawaii to provide engineering expertise and other support functions during Ulchi Freedom Guardian and in support of mission requirements for Eighth Army, U.S. Forces Korea and U.S. Army Pacific.
