Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Thomas Peyvre, Toddington. This well preserved effigy of Thomas Peyvre lies in its own niche on the southeastern wall of the south transept of St. George's, Toddington, next to 579878 - quite likely his wife. Thomas died in 1429, making this monument to him nearly 600 years old. 579953 died sixty-odd years before him so may have been his grandfather rather than his father. Arms of Peyvre on his tunic: On a chevron three fleurs-de-lys.
