Description |
English: Several steps lead to a white, rectangular monument at the edge of a field, framed by leafy trees. Thomas Farm. In addition to its historic agricultural character and its association with the Civil War battle, the landscape is significant for the commemoration period. In 1915, a memorial commemorating the 10th Vermont Infantry was added to the property near Araby Church Road. It is an eight-foot rectangular granite monolith with a bronze tablet, positioned to offer veterans and visitors views of the farm fields where the fighting occurred.
