Description
English:

tan room with a center prep table that holds kitchen tools an a tea set. A black mental wood oven stove is on the wall to the right with a tea kettle. a wooden ice chest is on the left hand wall and behind the prep table is a small curio with glass cabinets and small drawers for storage.

This kitchen space is where the family would have been able to grab food from and eat their meals. The main meal production was not done in this kitchen by the Saxtons, it was done by paid staff in the basement kitchen. This leaves very little domestic responsibilities for the Saxtons and also helps keep the house cool.
