DescriptionThis friendly baby Lemur jumped on my shoulder.jpg |
This friendly baby Lemur jumped on my shoulder. A pair of lemurs, and some parrots, were being displayed in the lobby of my local cinema. It was a promotion, for kids parties. This one chewed on my newspaper, and the lemur-wrangler told me they had just been weaned. I was surprised to see they were quite fearless in jumping and climbing onto the on-lookers. Sadly, I imagine the just weaned ones would be in much greater demand at parties than full grown lemurs. I am afraid that while the wranglers might keep some for breeding, most would be culled when they were past the cute stage. |
