| Description | This picture probably speaks volumes for the optimism and resilience of the Nepalese. This dilapidated shop house in the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square looks like it could fall down any moment. Much of the exalted square suffered much damage in the devastating 2015 earthquake. And while some of the important temples in the Durbar square have been marked for repair or are undergoing heavy repair and restoration, it is in the meantime business as usual for this little shop, operating out of an ancient building which looks as if it could fall down any time like a pile of bricks. No repairs or restoration appear to have been initiated on the building as well. I wish the trader well and hope repairs would be undertaken soon on his dilapidated premises.
