English: Cpl. Daniel R. Eslinger works on an electrical component from an air conditioning unit in Combat Logistics Battalion 3's Support Company lot at Camp Barber, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Feb. 25. Eslinger is a refrigeration mechanic with a Camp Pendleton, Calif.-based 7th Engineer Support Battalion detachment currently assigned to CLB-3, the logistics combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan. The detachment is scheduled to return home in March after a seven-month tour that began in August 2008. SPMAGTF-A's mission is to conduct counterinsurgency operations, and train and mentor the Afghan national police. |
