The relations of the parts thatit represents are so important that it is well worth the repeated study of theintelligent reader. The description of A and of C will suffice to explain Bfor all practical purposes here. The membrane covering the Craniumcan be distinctly seen below 4, as it extends down joining the lining at theedge of the hole in the base of the skull, from which it extends up, lining thecranium, and down, lining the spinal canal of the spinal column or back bone,within which, 51, the spinal cord, cut off above, is seen, not quite filling thecanal.
