English: Roman sculpture in marble - Lunette with Nereid riding Triton (Thetis delivering to Achilles the newly forged armor from Hephaestus), ca. 1st quarter of 2nd century CE. (Mid-Imperial, Trajanic Period) Overall dimensions: 46 1/2 x 69in. (118.1 x 175.3cm). Accession Number: 1993.11.2. On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 162. This version of the image has been slightly cropped, white-balanced, and the background changed to solid white.
