English: The western edge of the Maesglase plateau. The NE quarter of the square is occupied by a rough grassy plateau at about 650m, with steep slopes to all sides. The picture shows the western rim of this plateau, where a small tributary of the Afon Cerist has formed a steep valley. The Craig Portas ridge continues towards WSW and the summit of Waun Oer (57653). |
