Description
English: Fleuron from book:
The west-India atlas: or, a compendious description of the West-Indies: consisting of a complete collection of accurate charts, plans of the harbours, roads, bays, &c. Forming the whole navigation and distinct maps of the different islands, taken from actual surveys. Together with an historical account of the several countries and islands which compose that part of the world, their discovery, situation, extent, boundaries, product, trade, inhabitants, strength, government, religion, &c. By the late Thomas Jefferys, geographer to the King; and improved from the latest discoveries. Neatly engraved on eighty five-plates, which comprises sixty-one charts, maps and plans.
