English: The long jetty in the shallow bay Gullmarsvik, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. The jetty is about 125 m (410 ft) long, and like all the old jetties in Lysekil Municipality it is built high on stilts since the water level varies considerably with tide and storms. Modern jetties are usually floating pontoon jetties. |

NOTE: This image is a panorama of Gullmarsvik consisting of 11 frames that were merged or stitched in Photoshop. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
