| Description |
English: The upper slopes of Foel Trawsnant descending towards forestry and farmland The conifers seen - which fall within the south west of the grid square - lie at the edge of the large Afan Argoed Forest Park.
Although many of the upper areas of Foel Trawsnant seem to be covered by the sort of rough grasses seen in the foreground of the picture, plenty of agriculture occurs lower down the slopes of the hill. An area of farmland can be made out adjacent to the conifers, and was being worked on when the photograph was taken. Wooded slopes of the Afan Valley can be seen in the distance to the right of the picture. |
