In the Charlotte Observer of Feb.27, there appeared the followingstory of greatest human interests-One evening while visiting in thehome of a young clergyman in aWestern citv, we were invited by theminister to join his wife and himselfin attending their Wednesday even-ing prayer service. We found our-selves early and had time to observeattendants. Seated near us was abeautiful young woman in deepestmourning, truely widows garb ofdress, and her painfully sad face anddejected manner arrested our atten-tion and aroused the keenest sym-pathy for her in her apparent loneli-ness. After the service the courteousyoung minister approached andasked if he could see her to her ho-tel or home she was stopping at.
