[edit]DescriptionThe unit cell view for the model.jpg |
English: The unit cell view for the model P'3 based on Na0.62CoO2 after ionic exchange (space group C2/m) and electron-density distribution at the slice along oxygen atoms. (Reference: Possible pathway to discovery of superconductivity above 200K (the complete article, pdf). Please, cite as: V.A.Volochaev, Inženernyj vestnik Dona (Rus), 2015, No 4, ISSN 2073-8633. Based on crystal chemistry analysis and electron-density calculations, author is suggesting the concept of influence of protons on superconductivity and indicating the ideas for determination of superconducting materials with Tc≥200K. The directions for further research in the field of superconducting materials development are represented. According to submitted conception, the best results, with respect of estimated Tc enhancement, appear for a sample with an optimal (smooth) interlayer electrostatic potential and high concentration of mobile protons. A superconducting impurity in some known layered phases would be a plausible explanation for anomalies in physical properties nearly 200K and above this limit. The picture was made using VESTA freeware.
