Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe tumulus below Caer Caradoc - geograph.org.uk - 1077337.jpg |
English: The tumulus below Caer Caradoc. The tumulus, such as it is these days, is the raised grassy lump about 25 yards away, just before the field drops off into the valley, and in front of the 3rd sheep from the left. It's a bit of a disappointment, frankly. I can only assume that it's been damaged and reduced in size by past agricultural activity.
The ridge in the middle distance (The Wilderness) features in a number of other pictures in this square, notably 6608. |
