English: The Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge seen from 6 of the main railway station in the English city of Nottingham. The bridge, which has just been inched into position, will carry the new tram lines to Clifton and Chilwell. It crosses the station on the same alignment as the Great Central Railway bridge which was removed in the 1980s. The Carrington Street concourse of 1904 is being adapted and refurbished. The concrete pier behind the yellow crane will support a walkway from the concourse to the new tram stop on the bridge. |
