| Description | At nearly 55, I am hardly in my prime, and my level of physical fitness is not really up to much. At this point I encountered this particularly steep and slippery stretch of the trail, and was really at the end of my tether. There was no going back, and the only way was forward. Up that? Lord have mercy! The only thing that urged me on was the human voices, several of them, that could be heard very close. Good. That means we are fairly close to the end of the trail now.
