English: The trackbed of the former Benallt tramway from the Porth Ysgo Path This tramway linked the Benallt Manganese Mine SH2228 with the shipping point at Porth Ysgo.In the early years this was a horse drawn tramway. Later a small engine was bought from a Blaenau Ffestiniog Quarry, which in turn was replaced by a brand new engine named "Rhiw". |
