Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe townscape of Semba in the mid-19th century (49399647887).jpg | This diorama shows the town scape of the Semba district of Osaka city in the mid-19th century. Today Semba is an area of Osaka city known for it's wholesale market. Semba also has several historic landmarks in the district including the first commercial building of the district built circa 1925 and which can be visited by prior appointment only. The old Semba complex is set amidst a pleasant garden. I did not visit the Semba district of the city as it was not included in my off-line tour guide. (Osaka, Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
