Description

In partnership with the Government of Ethiopia, the Department for International Development (DFID) is helping at least 37,500 adolescent girls, and indirectly many more, to avoid child marriage.

The DFID-funded Finote Hiwot programme encourages communities to talk about child marriage. These conversations ultimately bring behavioural change which provides the tipping point to end the practice.

Girls and women everywhere have the right to live free from violence and discrimination. Help end child, early and forced marriage in a generation. Take the pledge now: www.girlsummitpledge.com
