[edit]DescriptionThe terminal of the Rhiwbach Tramroad extension - geograph.org.uk - 574261.jpg |
English: The terminal of the Rhiwbach Tramroad extension. This photo shows the final section of the tramroad extending on to the old Bwlch-y-Slaters Quarry ('Old' Manod) site, now renamed Cwt-y-Bugail by Alfred McAlpine plc. It also shows the start of the much improved Cwm Teigl road. A section of the lorry road linking the rendering and extractive areas of the McAlpine concern (now mothballed) can be seen behind the mill building.A map of the Rhiwbach Tramway and the quarries it served can be found on the following link.
