Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This architectural monument is located at a small village called Talakad in Karnataka. The astounding information about this temple is that, the temple's architecture has a mix of Hoysala and Chola's Architecture, which could unravel a lot of details regarding the relationship between the two kingdoms. The temple as you can see is a bit slant on the edges, as it was excavated. It emits a bright aura of serenity at the same time an eerie vibe due to the fact that although situated amidst the fertile region of Mandya, the village rests on unfertile sands. A curse threw upon this land a century back still prevails.
