At the heaviest hour of an average day at the present time themaximum number of cars on all the surface lines of the BrooklynRapid Transit is 1,365; and on the elevated lines 341. For the twelve months ending June 30, 1900 and 1901, the Brook-lyn Rapid Transit Co. made the following report, which includesthe entire system, surface and elevated. igoi. 1900. Increase.
