ylocat^d is a large combination stage and hand stand, whereentertainments are given and bands are heard in daily con-certs. Surrounding the stage is a natural amphitheatercasilv acconmiodating 3.000 people. Tiiere is a baseballdiamond, lacrosse and football field, as well as a tenniscourt and a large dancing pavilion with a promenade walkhidden in natural shrubbery. The park is less than half an cussed in the pits of the car house where tiie motors areassembled and repaired. The class at times numbers 50 stu-dents. Through Mr. Coxs efforts the fare between theterminals of the road was reduced to 15 cents; he also estab-lished a telephone system along the line, introduced electriclighting at every street crossing on the road, and convertedthe original 4-car schedule into tiie jireseiil one in which12 cars are operated.
