This systemof inspection is being widely adopted, 2<j roads having orderedthem. The one shown at Boston was the second one ordered bythe Union Traction Company, of Philadelphia F. H. Newcomb, J 3 Astor place. New York, showed a full lineof uniform caps. The exhibit was in charge of F. H. Newcomband H. H. Boerum. The Rooke Register Company, of Peoria, 111., was representedby George F. Rooke. treasurer and manager. Albert W. Jami-son and A. N. Loper. Probably none of the devices exhibitedwere examined with greater interest than this fare register whichrecords the money before it passes into the possession of the con-ductor.
