This company occupies a large five-story building as itsmanufacturing plant, and has been making coin-operated machineryfor 15 years. In this factory all the individual parts of these manytypes of machines are manufactured from the raw materials and ineach process the work is carefully executed and inspected. In general, coin-operated machines may be divided into threeclasses: those that pay prizes, amusement machines, and so-calledtrade stimulators. The prize machines are built to representroulette wheels and other gaming devices, in which the operatordeposits his coin and takes a chance of losing it or gaining manytimes its amount. These devices are built in heavy substantial cabi-nets of well chosen woods, decorated with heavy bronze or nickel-plated trimmings.
