Boston is the largest wool market inthe United States and is one of the most important distributingcenters for the boot and shoe, clothing and printing business. Itis the second port of the country with regard to European trade.The present mayor of Boston is Josiah Quincy who was firstelected in Pecember, 1895, and re-elected in 1897.
