The Elastic nuts have been adopted by a number of machinery,bridge, and car builders and have been found very efficient fortrack fastening, tie rods, etc. They are highly endorsed by manymanufacturers and engineers.

As mentioned in the Review for last January, the attractionconsists of a slightly inclined, covered sluice-way, S ft. wide, withsides 24 in. high, through which runs a current of water sufficientlyswift to move boats seating from four to six persons. The riverwinds its way in a sinuous course, and along its banks are placedinteresting scenes, tunnels and novel lighting effects, which arousedelight and interest at every turn. The accompanying drawingshows how a river over a half mile long may be laid out in a plotof ground about 600 ft. long. ELASTIC SELF-LOCKING NUTS.
