It is a brown stone structure and is lighted by electricity,as are the grounds and other buildin-s. .\t the dance hall an orches-tra is in attendance at all hours. There are baseball and croquetgrounds, tennis courts, a half-mile track for autos, bicycles andhorses, and numerous other amusement devices, not forgetting amerry-go-round and a pony livery stable for the children. Many important conventions and public gatherings are held at thepark, notably, the Ohio Slate Baptist .-Vssembly, which lasts 10 days,and which brings .together 1,000 or more campers, or tenters eachyear; the Cleveland City Guards, who aiuuially muster there for 10days; the State Sunday School Union, 1,000 members, who also campthere for 10 days each summer; the County Fair, wdiich was startedin 1901, is likewise held there annually.
